ACE ALUMNI & WHERE THEY ARE NOW

Below are updates on our ACE students who graduated from the ACE Program. They have been in contact with us in order to inform us of where they have gone to, what they are doing and how their life has benefited from being in the ACE Program.

"I am very happy to share with you the best news of my life, my acceptance into Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Sciences in Chicago, for August 2009 admissions.
It was not long since my graduation from the ACE Program at Scottsdale Community College, May of 2006. Thanks to the hardworking people who made ACE possible. I managed to successfully graduate from ASU, with a B.S. in Human Nutrition, perform at a satisfactory level on my MCAT,
and be one of the few to get admitted into a good medical school.
I am currently finishing my last week of classes here at ASU, while looking forward to a relaxing summer to enjoy before my journey to become a doctor starts. I will be carrying the title of an artichoke with me, because I owe my current happiness to ACE. The memory of ACE and working with you has become a part of my life. I will never forget that my experience at ACE and all your help is what brought me to this point.
I was a little Iranian girl with what seemed to be impossible dreams, who barely spoke any English, and you helped me become the successful person I am today. My biggest dream of getting accepted into medical school has come true, and I can never thank you enough for what you have done for me. I hope one day I can come back as a proud doctor, and pay my gratitude to Scottsdale Community College."

"After graduating from high school, two weeks later, I enrolled at The Bryman School in Tempe for a program in Medical Assisting; which then after graduating, I've obtained an Associates Degree...I'm currently working for a doctor in North Scottsdale. He specializes in Naturopathic Orthopedics. I've been here for one year now, I really like it here."

"I miss Scottsdale Community College and the ACE Program. It was such a blessing to be part of it. It really made a difference in my educational experience.
Now to tell you how I am doing...I am doing great! I am attending ASU West campus. My major is Business and I've been a full-time student ever since I graduated from high school and the ACE Program. I should be a sophomore right now, but because of the ACE Program, I am actually a Junior. I will be graduating in about a year. I am not currently working because I want to concentrate on school...I am able to stay at home with my parents and dedicate my time to studying because I have received enough scholarships and grants to cover my tuition and everything else (even left over money).
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the ACE Program. I am this far ahead in my education because of the program."
