"The ACE Program has already helped me to achieve my goal of starting college early. When I first learned of this program I was reluctant to do it, but after finding out the benefits and details I knew it would help me in the long run toward a college education. I am the oldest of four children and in my family, I will be the first to attend college and go on to a university. By participating in the ACE Program, I have already gained college credits applicable to any degree I am interested in, as well as, learning helpful college skills. It has exposed me to real college lifestyle and how to be a more responsible adult. I feel that with out this early exposure to the college lifestyle I might have had a harder time adapting to being on my own. With the experience of the college lifestyle, I believe that I can fully dive into the university atmosphere with courage and determination. Plus, ACE has given me the opportunity to obtain twenty-four transferrable credits. Those credits will give me a jump start ahead of my classmates, which is truly beneficial...Overall, the ACE Program has helped me out in more than one way. I will be able to take the experiences from SCC to the University of Arizona and beyond."

"I have big dreams to over exceed in life and the ACE Program is helping me knock out some of my beginner goals and making it easier to believe that anything is possible in this life We just have to give it our all and make it happen. The great leaders of this world, like John F. Kennedy or Abraham Lincoln, didn't start out with being 'Great' but in comparison of them to us we all have to start out somewhere and my 'somewhere' is with the ACE Program."

"I would like to express my gratitude to the program that has helped me for so long. The ACE Program has allowed me to achieve a college education while I was still in high school. It helped me mature and get a taste of the college experience. Not only did ACE help me as an individual, but financially as well. Everything I did with the ACE Program would have seemed out of reach with out their help. I have taken so many classes and I have learned so much. I now have a total of 18 credits...hoping to finish with 21, that will help with my college education. As if this wasn't enough, the ACE Program staff made a wonderful dream come true. I won a scholarship from the Hispanic Women's Corporation because I was nominated by the ACE Program as a candidate of the Scottsdale Community College ACE Program. It was such an honor. Never in my life would I have thought something this amazing could happen. Even though I had to give up some of my breaks, especially summer break, it was well worth my time and the end result speaks for themselves. Thanks to this program, my applications for universities have not been overlooked and I have been accepted to Arizona State University to major in Nursing, Class of 2013. I will never forget this program and all that is has done for me. Words can't express my full gratitude."

"The ACE Program has helped me alot in many different ways. First thing that ACE helped me with was getting a college education. Thanks to ACE, I have earned many college credits which have given me a head start on my education. Within this program I learned many things such as being more responsible and having a mature life. Having to experience a college life at age 16 was awesome. My parents started to treat me as an adult because they saw how I was taking advantage of every opportunity for my future education. Having to meet new students and new teachers makes me want to continue. Having all the help they offer at SCC makes me want to continue with college and keep on attending SCC. I just love the staff."
