HIGH SCHOOL/CONCURRENT
ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
High School/Concurrent Enrollment Program at Scottsdale Community College (SCC) provides high school students with an opportunity to take classes at SCC while attending high school full time. This program runs out of the Early Outreach Programs office.![]()
Who is eligible to participate in the High School/Concurrent Enrollment Program at SCC?
Any student is eligible in the Concurrent Enrollment Program as long as the high school is in agreement.
Does the class a student takes at SCC count for high school credit?
It is up to the high school to determine if credits taken at SCC will also count for high school credit. It is very important that students check with their high school counselor, prior to taking the class, to find out if they will receive credit at their school for classes taken at SCC. Any 100 or above class taken at SCC counts toward an associate degree at SCC.
