British Isles Program Overview
Students will stay on the cruise ship Crown Princess as it travels throughout the British Isles. Destinations include ports of call in Dublin and Cork, Ireland; Guernsey and Liverpool, England; Belfast, Northern Ireland; Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Inverness, Scotland; and Paris, France. Geography students will focus on projects as they pertain to the cultural, historical, and physical geography of the region. In particular, emphasis will be placed on the cultural identity of various locales, as well as the physical characteristics that dominate the region. Geography students will be responsible for researching the sites visited and compiling a final project.
