The purpose of the Greenhouse/Vivarium is to culture plants for the habitat restoration projects and the Wildlife Demonstration Gardens, as well as serving as a resource for biology classes at SCC. This facility houses aqua-culture tanks and a pond dedicated to raising endangered Arizona amphibian species.

The image on the left shows two of our aqua-culture tanks, which have been used in restoration efforts of such species as the Lowland Leopard Frog (Rana yavapaiensis) and the American Bulrush.
