Need some help? Here are a few clues:
- This is the State Bird of Arizona.
- Pairs build multiple grassy, covered nests, usually in Cholla Cactus. The male and the female may sleep in seperate nests.
- They are insectivorous and very adaptable; individuals have been seen extracting insects from car radiators.
Scroll down for the answer!
It's a Cactus Wren (Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus)!
This individual is pictured on a Saguaro (Carnegiea giganteus).
