           • PIF
           • Nutritionist

Who benefits from PIF?

PIF is a program that allows students currently enrolled in the Scottsdale Community College Fitness & Wellness Center (SCC FWC) to obtain additional support in health, fitness & wellness. Students wanting continued or more advanced, one on one instruction in health, fitness and wellness may benefit from this program. An example of this would be a student that may not be able to motivate themselves to come and exercise on their own and needs an instructor to guide them through their exercise routine regularly. Another example would be an athlete seeking special training to enhance performance for a specific event.
How much will it cost?
PIF instruction costs $60 for each PIF section. Each PIF section equals two 60 minute sessions of instruction. Students may register for up to 16 sections of PIF per semester. No refunds will be issued (except medical emergency) after students have registered.

How do I get started with PIF?

• Go to the PIF posting board in the SCC FWC and view the instructors’ biographies and schedules of availability.
• Find a PIF instructor that fits your needs and your schedule.
• Contact the instructor to get further information on their philosophies, instructional techniques and availability.
• If you and the PIF instructor establish an agreeable schedule, you are ready to register for a PIF section(s).
