Installing the Citrix Software Off Campus (Windows PC instructions)
mySCC should be available automatically on SCC computers, but to access mySCC off campus, you’ll need to perform this one-time installation of the Citrix web interface application. These instructions assume the Internet Explorer browser & Windows XP (SP2).
Step 1: Enter this URL: http://myscc.scottsdalecc.edu. A Log On box appears.
Step 2: Use your normal network login (“client” or “learner”). The following screen appears:

Step 3: After checking the box to agree to the license agreement, click Download.
Step 4: In the following window, click Run.

Step 5: In the subsequent window, click Run.

Please be patent; it may take a few minutes for the Installation Progress message box to appear:

Step 6: Select the preferred language and click OK.
The following message appears indicating the installation was successful:

Step 7: Click Close. You can now start using mySCC !
If the installation was not successful, you can click the Installation Failed link. Under the Preferences menu, click Connection Preferences, then Run Client Detection to restart the installation.
This process adds a program to your computer, called “Citrix XenApp Web Plugin”. If, at a future date, you need to remove that program (through your Control Panel), then that is the name to look for.
