Access To College Facilities
The campus is open daily between 6 A. M. and 11 P. M.
Classes are not normally conducted on Sundays or on designated holidays. During summer months, classes are conducted Monday through Thursday except on designated holidays.
SCC does all it can to maintain a safe and secure campus environment for students, staff and visitors. Campus is monitored on a 24-hour basis via a closed circuit television (CCTV) system, and proactive patrols ? on foot, via electric cart, and with a patrol vehicle.
In addition, emergency phones/call boxes are located throughout the campus.
It is also the job of the safety staff to recognize on-campus safety hazards and immediately report these problems to the appropriate college department for corrective action.
To further promote safety, the college encourages all campus community members to take an active part and immediately report any observation of a suspected crime, unusual or suspicious activity, emergency, or hazardous condition to College Safety.
The college does not own, maintain, or control dormitories or other residential facilities.
The college does operate a satellite campus, the Scottsdale Business Institute, located at 14350 North 87th Street, Suite 185 in Scottsdale, AZ.
College Safety will provide reasonable assistance to College community members whose vehicle is disabled on campus or require special assistance moving about campus. Such services include:
- Battery jump starts.
- Assistance in opening locked vehicles.
- Escort for persons with a disability or security concern.
