SCC Training Services
Employee training services are provided through the college's Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) in our temporary Computer Training Room (LB 132).
(Some classes will be held in CM 448 during the month of May.)
Training Services provides faculty and staff with group workshops on the Blackboard learning management system, Microsoft Office software, My Maricopa, CFS, etc. Check our training schedule for specific course titles and descriptions, plus dates and times. Our trainers are:
- Barbara Bentz (423-6220) - SIS, HRMS, CFS, Resource25, etc.
- Ron Schilling (425-6713) - MS Office, Blackboard, MySCC, Web CMS, etc.

In addition, limited one-on-one training is available as the need arises for district-supported software, via office visits, phone, email or voicemail. Supported software include the following:
- Microsoft Office 2007 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- MySCC (Citrix)
- My Maricopa - SIS, HRMS
- CFS
- Blackboard
- Respondus (test building)
- Impatica (web-based slide shows)
- Windows XP (operating system)
- Web CMS
- WebMail (MEMO)
District Training Services also provides Maricopa employees with workshop schedule and online training materials.
