Getting started with a course syllabus
Not sure where to start in creating your syllabus?
SCC provides a template (in MS Word format) which will help get you going, and provide you with some examples of standard language you may want to include.
After you click on this template, save it to your computer, and rename as you wish. You can then customize it for your course. For your reference, here's the SCC Code of Civility required text.
In Word 2007, you can save the file as Acrobat PDF format and post it to your Blackboard course. Any hyperlinks in your syllabus should be retained.
